ACCOUNTING IN EUROPE (AinE)

Background

Accounting in Europe (AinE) was launched by the European Accounting Association (EAA) in 2004. In 2007 the journal switched to a new "e-First" format. AinE is published electronically twice a year, followed by a single hard-copy version. Members of the EAA are granted online access to Accounting in Europe and receive a hard copy as part of their annual membership. Non-members and institutions are invited to subscribe to AinE electronically via the website.

More information regarding Accounting in Europe (including subscription details) can be found at the website:  www.informaworld.com/raie.

Information about the Editorial Committee can be accessed by clicking here.

Editorial Policy

Accounting in Europe aims to occupy a position between the pure research journal and the practitioner journal. AinE publishes descriptive, practice- and policy-oriented papers on current issues in all areas of accounting. The journal also serves as a literary meeting place for accounting scholars and professionals, who form its target readership as well as author potential.

AinE consists of two main sections: 'Issues in European Accounting' contains articles actively solicited by the Editorial Team, whereas the second section includes unsolicited papers that have been subject to peer review.

Submissions

Submissions to Accounting in Europe should be made electronically (using MS-Word) via e-mail to the co-editor, Professor Lisa Evans, at: AinE@stir.ac.uk. The style conventions are the same as those for the European Accounting Review, which can be accessed by clicking here.
